Founder & President

Brandon Siler, the Founder and President of Love4Vets, brings a unique blend of compassion and expertise to veteran care. After retiring from the NFL, Brandon initially assisted fellow NFL players in obtaining their disability benefits, drawing on his firsthand understanding of life after professional sports. This experience led him to establish Pure Recovery California, a center dedicated to providing exceptional care for mental health and substance abuse disorders. Recognizing a similar need among veterans, Brandon founded Love4Vets, driven by a commitment to support and rehabilitate veterans worldwide, including efforts to aid homeless veterans. His leadership at Love4Vets reflects a deep dedication to enhancing the lives of those who have served their country.

Frequently Asked Questions

VA Service-Connected Disability

What’s the difference between Love4Vets and free VSO and DAV services?

Love4Vets offers professional medical evidence development and consulting services. By applying our medical expertise to your situation and the VA rating schedule, we assess your current symptoms and/or VA disability ratings. You decide which claims to pursue, and our role is to provide supporting medical evidence and consulting. For certain conditions, we may offer vital nexus statements at no charge or refer you to a medically credentialed provider who can provide a medical opinion for a reasonable fee to support your claim or appeal. While a VSO can assist in filing a claim or appeal, they often lack the professional medical experience necessary to thoroughly evaluate your medical evidence, symptoms, or disability level, and may not have the resources to obtain the crucial evidence you need.

What is a service-connected disability, and how do I know if I’m eligible?

A service-connected disability is a condition that was either incurred or aggravated by your military service. Eligibility can be established by medical evidence and service records linking your disability to your service.

What type of medical evidence is most effective for supporting my VA disability claim?

Effective medical evidence includes service medical records, current medical evaluations that diagnose and detail the severity of your condition, and any relevant treatment records. A nexus letter from a medical professional stating the connection between your service and the disability is also crucial.

How long does it take to process a VA disability claim with Love4Vets’ assistance?

While processing times can vary depending on the complexity of your case and the VA’s workload, Love4Vets strives to streamline your application process as much as possible by ensuring your claim is thorough and well-documented.

Can Love4Vets help if my initial claim is denied?

Yes, Love4Vets can assist in appealing denied claims by reviewing your initial submission, gathering additional evidence, and refining your application to address the VA’s concerns.

Does Love4Vets charge for helping with VA disability claims?

Specific details about fees or any costs associated with our services should be discussed directly with our team, as we aim to provide transparent and fair assistance to all veterans.
