Medical evidence

Medical evidence support for your VA claim

Medical evidence can make a major difference in a VA disability claim. We help you understand what records, evaluations and documentation may strengthen your claim, and what may be missing.

Veterans should not have to decode the system alone. A strong claim generally depends on documentation that clearly supports your condition, your symptoms and how they connect to your service.

Who this is for

For Veterans who are not sure their records tell the whole story

This support is for you if you are unsure what evidence your claim needs, or you suspect your records do not show what you actually live with.

Your symptoms may not be documented in the way the VA expects, and your medical records may not explain the full impact of your condition. That gap is common, and it is often fixable.

  • You are preparing a claim and want to know what evidence matters
  • Your records are spread across military, VA and private providers
  • Your treatment notes do not describe how often or how badly symptoms affect you
  • A decision said the evidence was not enough
  • You want to understand your records before an exam

What we help with

What we help you understand about your evidence

We help you understand what your records, symptoms, DBQs and nexus-related documentation may mean for your claim.

Your records

Records, evaluations and treatment notes help support the reality, severity and impact of your condition.

We help you understand what you already have, including service treatment records, VA records and private records, and what they show or leave out.

What may be missing

Gaps in documentation are one of the most common reasons claims fall short.

We help you see where the file is silent, for example about frequency, flare-ups, limits on work or the date a problem began.

Symptoms and daily impact

How a condition affects your life belongs in the record too.

We help you describe your symptoms and their effect on work, sleep and family life clearly and accurately, without exaggeration.

How it fits together

Evidence works best when it tells one consistent story.

We help you understand how medical evidence, DBQs and nexus-related documentation fit together in a claim, so nothing important is left out.
